FECA and Federal Agency Investigative Services
Frasco supports federal agencies with surveillance and administrative investigations involving suspected misuse of assets and Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA) claims. Our investigative work provides objective documentation that can support Second Opinion Exams, claims review, and administrative case decisions.
When an investigation identifies potential fraud, we help agencies organize and thoroughly document case files for review by the Department of Labor (DOL). Our experience includes matters involving claimants who have obtained undisclosed employment, opened businesses, or participated in activities inconsistent with reported medical restrictions. This documentation helps federal clients evaluate whether a case meets the evidentiary and monetary threshold for referral and whether additional investigative resources may be warranted.
When a claim does not meet the threshold for fraud but shows signs of abuse or malingering, our investigations may document:
