Conducting Lawful Medical Canvasses

This course aims to educate claim professionals more deeply on how medical canvasses are conducted and how records are procured using a signed medical authorization (SMA). One course goal is to ensure every level of claim handler knows what types of medical records and facilities are canvassed, and how to legally secure those records in the defense of a claim. The other main goal is helping adjusters understand how different claim red flags should point towards one of the many available types of a canvass.
